His Voice Roars Louder

Your word was written on my heart from the start

Though I felt so alone, you knew we would never be apart

My heart would tear

But in my deepest moments of pain you were always there

You showed me there was purpose in my pain

Even through the chaos in my fractured brain

Your eternal truth broke through the confusion

Even when the enemy fought so hard to give me delusion 

I was bruised, but not defeated

Even though it felt in ways I had been cheated

My whole world fell apart

I didn’t know how I would ever restart

But Jesus gave me a reason to hope

It was because of him that I would more than just cope

Satan sought to destroy me

But his foolish plans were demolished from the man from Galilee 

I used to live in fear

But now I know that you are always near

There is nothing more powerful your Spirit

Oh how do I pray every soul would hear it

Your roaring voice that calms every mind

You are the best thing I could ever hope to find

Thank you for your love that never gets old

Jesus, you are the best story that will ever be told
